Nike78

Stumbled across this on Pentagram’s site. LCC (my former uni) student Paul Jenkins has put together a rather nice collection in honour of Nike’s birthday. They were founded in 1978 so Jenkins got 78 pairs of Nike trainers and sent them out to designers and illustrators and got some great stuff back. An exhibition is planned as part of the London Design Festival this autumn.

I just adore this take on Nike ‘Airs’ by Justus Oehler of Pentagram.
