		<description>I think the right mix is for brands to have a continual and active presence on social media (if they can afford it) and then the &quot;through the line&quot; campaigns can act as the main conversion drivers. If brands listen to their audience on social media and understand them, then talk to them based on their learnings, and then give them what they&#039;ve asked for - they might, unless they&#039;ve acted like total w***ers convert a meaningful percentage of these into customers.A strong social media foundation will allow brands to engage with their audience at any stage and in anyway as long as this fits in wit what the audience wants.Social Media is all about relationships and we all know that all other relationships worth having take time, trust and rapport to develop. Social Media is like gardening, a little and often does the trick.
